These terms and conditions govern your use of our website. Please read these terms in full before you use this website. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this website. Your continued use of this website confirms your acceptance of these terms.

It is not necessary to register with us in order to use most parts of this website. However, particular areas of this website will only be accessible only if you have registered.

Secure online purchases processed by PayPal and Worldpay.
Your credit card details are not stored by Tanty Records during the transaction process.
Your contact details are not passed onto any third parties.

When entering sensitive information such as your password, credit card number or address ensure that the connection is secure! Microsoft Internet Explorer shows a closed padlock symbol within their Status Bar. 
Other browsers may use a key symbol, check your documentation if you are unsure of this.

All prices can be quoted in UK Pounds Sterling, US Dollars and Euros.
Our secure shopping cart system automatically adds shipping costs and local taxes appropriate to the location which you select. Errors will lead to delays in your order, possibly even cancellations.
On occasion the Tanty Record Shop will have automatic discount promotions awarded to shoppers for the size of purchase they may make varying from 2% - 15% depending on the size of the order. 
These promotions are not fixed in time or level of the reward and will be at the discretion of Tanty Records when promotions shall start or end.
The majority of orders received (UK and International) are despatched within 24 hours. 
Depending on the size of the order we usually send parcels by first class mail. which should arrive between 1 and 2 days within the UK. Larger orders are sent by Parcel Force / Special Delivery which is usually a 2 - 3 day service within the UK. There is also a 'NEXT DAY' UK service. Payment needs to have been completed by 10.30am on the day of dispatch Monday to Thursday.
UK customers’ orders weighing over 2kg can use the cheaper '5 Day' parcel service available which is selected in the 'Country' select option on the Order Page.
International Orders usually arrive within 7 – 12 full working days after despatch. 
Orders outside the UK weighing under 2kg (up to 11 x 12" singles in weight) can by sent by '3 Day AIR SURE' in countries where this service is offered.
There is no guarantee that all countries are part of this scheme. 
If a country is not part of the scheme then the order will be sent by 'RECORDED DELIVERY'.
Orders weighing over 2kg are sent by the UK Post Office’s “Parcelforce”, "Parcel 2 Go, Global Priority, Fed Ex, DHL or UPS service, and are insured. 
Overseas orders not received from us within 14 full working days should notify us immediately so we can attempt locate the parcel.
If no notification of non-delivery is received before 14 days after delivery the order will be deemed as delivered and completed.

We cannot be held responsible for any 'RECORDED DELIVERY' item not received but sent from the UK after 21 days after dispatch but will help as best we can in order to resolve this situation.
If parcels are returned to the UK they can be re sent for the cost of the postage.
Customers who select to send their order without 'RECORDED DELIVERY' or any tracking service are agreeing they will be sent at their own risk.
All prices shown on the site are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).
VAT at 20% has to be added by law to orders from the UK and any EU country.
Non VAT countries will have the tax deducted before payment and will be clearly shown. 
The overall order total will be clearly shown by the shopping cart as you are shopping.
Any additional import duties (if any) levied by any respective country will be at the customers expense.

Payments can be made in UK Pounds Sterling, US Dollars and Euros via PayPal. 

We regret we may not accept online orders where the credit card details (name, address etc.) differ from the billing or delivery name and address.
You should order using your own credit card when using the PayPal account or Worldpay payment option. This is to reduce the possibility of credit card / PayPal / Worldpay fraud. Additional proof of identity and or address maybe required before despatch if a 'Fraud Alert' has been raised.
If you wish to send your order to another address apart from your billing address these orders must be sent by 'RECORDED DELIVERY'.

Tanty Records reserves the right to not to ship an order to any customer thought to be using a stolen or otherwise illegal credit card or payment method.

If you wish to order from us but do not have a credit card, we can accept PayPal, Worldpay, International Money Orders (IMO) or cheque payments made payable to 'Tanty Records' in ‘UK POUNDS’ sterling only and can be made from our ‘Mail Order’ page. Cash in UK Pounds and Euros can be accepted for an order payment but must be rounded up to the nearest 'paper money' total and MUST be sent by 'RECORDED DELIVERY' mail.
Please send an e-mail at the time of ordering to: kelvin.richard@virginmedia.com quoting the Order Number and say that this is a ‘Mail Order Purchase’.
These payments must be accompanied by a printed copy of your order.
Orders paid by cheque will only be sent once it has cleared in our bank account.
Please allow 5-7 days before dispatch if using this method of payment.

In the event of any items supplied by us being damaged or defective, it should be returned for inspection within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it with another copy or refund the purchase price and any postage charges, depending on stock availability.
Items returned must be returned in suitable packaging in the same manner it was posted to you.
Claims for refunds against damaged items in the post will only be considered if the item has been returned in its original packing for inspection for proof of damage by the Royal Mail/Courier.
Replacement of goods which are unwanted or ordered in error will be at the discretion of Tanty Records Ltd and if accepted will require return of the original items at your cost and in perfect condition before a refund can be issued. An administration charge of 15% of the total cost of records (excluding shipping, shipping is non-refundable in this instance) will be deducted off the refund offer which will be made to the customer.

Refunds will be in the form of a Credit Note or Code which can be used in the Tanty Record Shop.

Requests for cash refunds will be subject to an additional deduction of 10% to cover any PayPal or Worldpay's transaction processing costs.
Please contact us immediately quoting your order number if you have a problem with your order which may necessitate a return or refund.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
